Use before real access
Use real league structure League name, prize rules, member count and payment statuses are the core test.
Do not enter bank details Payment status only. Bank transfers and payouts stay outside GameWeek HQ.
Export a backup after each session Use cloud save when signed in, and export a backup after real edits.
Capture blockers If a host would still need WhatsApp, notes or a spreadsheet, write down exactly why.

Manager Walkthrough

For the person running the league

Create the live workspace

Use New live league, then add the host name, league name, entry fee and private league details in Setup and Settings.

Add members

Add a member manually or import the CSV template. Payment and access status are host-controlled records only.

Lock the league code until paid

Members can connect with Team ID, but the FPL league code and Matchday Hub stay locked until the host approves access.

Track prizes and announcements

Create prize rules, mark winners manually, generate group posts and publish important updates into Matchday Hub.

Back up the league

Use cloud save when signed in and export a JSON backup after major imports, prize edits or payment updates.

Player Walkthrough

For managers joining a private league

Open the invite

Join from the host's GameWeek HQ link and create or open your GameWeek HQ session.

Connect public FPL details

Enter your FPL Team ID, optional League ID, manager display name and team name. No FPL password is ever requested.

Follow payment instructions

Pay the host outside GameWeek HQ using the agreed league method. The app only records status.

Wait for approval

When the host marks you as paid and approved, the private FPL code, Matchday Hub and league tools unlock.

Use Squad and Matchday Hub

View public FPL data where available, draft captain/transfer plans locally and follow host announcements without digging through WhatsApp.
